Sister Michelle Callister Burk was born and raised in Boise Idaho. She graduated from Borah High School, received her bachelors in Humanities from BYU in Provo, and her Masters in Business and Management Leadership from WGU. She spent 6 months studying at the Jerusalem Center in Israel, worked as an EFY counselor and speaker in Provo, and served a mission in Morristown New Jersey. Sister Burk is married to Dr. Roman Burk. Together they have lived in Utah, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and are now back in Idaho. She is the mother of four children. Sister Burk has been a teacher most of her adult life, served in various church capacities. She loves institute and teaches as a member of the faculty of the Boise-Nampa Institute.
